I was looking for a website that would let me have an online sketchbook when I realized, in essence, that's what DeviantArt is. Then I felt stupid.
I'm gonna upload a lot of stuff now.


PS, love the movie The Faculty. It's so ... random.

on a random tangent I'm probably going to be sending via note some more things your way~
I found an artist through serendipity whose painterly style/pallet knife technique is something I'm trying to learn from: Mary B McKenzie. I was walking through the library trying to find some book on expressionism and they moved the sections around again so nothing is easy to find and this book she wrote was like ';pick me up'. So I did and I was at first apprehensive because the cover looks like something inaccessible is within.
She does these paintings of Maya and I'll find a way to scan them or something so I can show you them but they are just so cool! She really has a way of communicating through her canvas.

Hey! How is it going?
Ringling is making me soooooo freaking busy but all types of new things keep coming up. Like I learned to weld to other day. I wish I had more time to write because I totally miss you but I have to scoot off to my next class.
